Your day begins when your driver picks you up at the gangway of your ship at Civitavecchia port.
In just 90 minutes by car, you will reach the center of Rome where the main suggested stops include Piazza Venezia, where you can admire the monument of Victor Emmanuel (first Italian king) and Mussolini's balcony, the Capitoline hill (the most important of the seven legendary Roman hills) with an amazing view over the Roman Forum, and the Colosseum, where your driver will give you a brief explanation and history before you enter and explore on your own (with the option of pre-booked tickets to avoid long lines).
Other sites include the Aventine hill and keyhole, Circus Maximus, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and even more, time permitting.
